Do a tarot spread reading

Open Tarot

Go to Tools → Tarot. It opens on the Reading tab. The deck is the Rider-Waite-Smith deck of 78 cards.

Your reading stays in place when you switch to the Deck tab to look something up, so you can go back to it.

Choose a spread and ask the question

Leave Reading type on Spread reading and choose a spread. Each position in a spread has its own meaning:

One card (1 card). Past, present, future (3 cards). Situation, action, outcome (3 cards). Relationship (5 cards): you, them, the connection, what helps and what hinders. Horseshoe (7 cards). Celtic Cross (10 cards).

Type the question. A reading can't start without one. Untick Allow reversed cards if you read every card upright.

Choose your cards

The 78 cards are already shuffled, and each one is already upright or reversed. Hold the question in mind and write a number from 1 to 78 in each box. The same number can't be used twice.

Shuffle again gives a fresh shuffle before you turn the cards over. Changing the spread or reading type also starts a new shuffle.

Turn over the cards

Select Turn over the cards. Each card appears under its position with its name, whether it came up upright or reversed, and the meaning for that way up.

Select a card, or Read the full article, for everything about that card. New reading clears the boxes and shuffles the deck for the next question.
