The terms for using Yogatara

1. About these terms

Yogatara is operated by OCCULTLAB CODE PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”), a company registered in India at B-40-a, Parbhu Marg, Tilak Nagar, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302004, India. These terms govern your use of the Yogatara website and web app. “You” means the person who holds the account, or the business they use it for.

By creating an account or using Yogatara you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live (18 in India).

2. The service

Yogatara is Vedic astrology software for astrologers. From the birth details you enter it calculates charts, divisional charts, dashas, varshaphal, prashna, chakras and panchang, and it offers tarot and the Jyotisha AI assistant.

We keep improving Yogatara, so features may be added, changed or withdrawn over time. We work to keep it available, but it is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and may be unavailable during maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

3. Your account

Please give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date. Keep your password, and your Google sign-in if you use it, to yourself, and turn on two-factor sign-in if you can. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

An account is for the person who holds it. Please do not share your sign-in with others; if someone else needs Yogatara, they need their own account.

4. Plans, free trial and payment

Yogatara is sold as subscription plans, shown with their prices on our pricing page. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ in allowances, such as how many Jyotisha AI questions you can ask each day. You buy and manage a plan in Settings → Subscription & Billing.

Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. You add a card or UPI to start it, and nothing is charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the plan starts and its price is charged. We may limit free trials to one per person.

Prices are in Indian Rupees and shown before GST, which is added at checkout at the rate shown. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. A GST invoice is issued for every payment and can be downloaded from Settings → Subscription & Billing.

Where automatic renewal is on (shown as “Auto Renew” in Settings), your plan renews at the end of each billing period and the plan price plus GST is charged to the payment method you authorised, until you cancel. Where it is off, your plan ends on its expiry date and you can renew it from Settings.

We may change prices. A change never affects a billing period you have already paid for; it applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before then.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep your plan until the end of the trial or billing period you are in, and your saved charts and notes stay with your account. How to cancel, and when we give refunds, is set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Not professional advice

Yogatara's calculations are made from astronomical ephemeris data and are intended to be accurate. Astrological interpretation, however, is not a settled science: classical sources disagree on method, and results legitimately vary with the ayanamsa, house system and other settings you choose.

Charts, readings and every other result in Yogatara are offered for guidance and entertainment. They are not professional advice of any kind, whether medical, psychological, legal or financial, and should not be the only basis for decisions about health, money, relationships or safety. If you give readings to clients, you are responsible for the advice you give them.

7. Jyotisha AI

Jyotisha AI writes its answers with AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent, even when they sound confident, and they may interpret a chart differently from you or from classical texts. Check an answer before you rely on it or pass it on.

The questions you ask, and any chart you attach, are sent to our AI model providers to produce an answer, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your plan sets how many questions you can ask each day.

8. Your charts and client data

The charts, birth details and notes you save remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run Yogatara for you. You may use the charts and results you create in your own work, including in consultations with your clients.

If you enter someone else's birth details, you are responsible for having their permission to do so. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• try to gain unauthorised access to Yogatara, to other people's accounts, or to the systems it runs on;
• share your sign-in, or resell or sublicense access to Yogatara, as though another person's use were your own;
• scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract calculations, content or data from the service, or use it to build a competing product;
• work around plan allowances, the free trial or payment, or probe, scan or load-test the service without our written permission;
• enter someone else's personal details without the right to do so, or use Yogatara in any way that breaks the law;
• present results from Yogatara, or from Jyotisha AI, as professional medical, legal or financial advice.

10. Intellectual property

The Yogatara software, website, name, logo, tutorials, articles and other content remain ours or our licensors'. Using Yogatara gives you the right to use it under these terms; it does not transfer ownership of any of it to you.

11. Limitation of liability

Yogatara is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from decisions made on the basis of astrological results or Jyotisha AI answers.

Our total liability in connection with Yogatara is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that has an unpaid charge, or where the law requires us to. You may stop using Yogatara at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by following the steps on the delete account page.

If we close your account for a reason other than a breach by you, we will refund the unused part of any billing period you have paid for.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will tell you about significant changes by email or in the app. Continuing to use Yogatara after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
